Who we are
We are a group of Chinese citizens living in Catalonia and we work in different professions: business consulting, translation, language teaching and engineering, among others. We have a deep knowledge of the languages and cultures of both countries, as well as more than ten years of work experience in these professional fields.
Our chief consultant is Liyun Wang:
- The first Chinese PhD holder in Catalan linguistics from the University of Barcelona
- Winner of the 2021 IEC Pompeu Fabra Grammar Prize awarded by the philological Section of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans
- Master's Degree in Translation, Interpreting and Cultural Studies from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and Bachelor's Degree in Hispanic Philology from the Shanghai International Studies University (SISU)
- Business consultant and language teacher for companies in collaboration with Cambra de Comerç de Lleida and Pimec Formació.
- Chinese language teacher of the University of Pompeu Fabra and the University of Lleida
- Catalan language teacher in collaboration with CPNL
- Trainer in collaboration with the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya for Catalan teachers in public schools and LIC advisors on teaching Catalan to students of Chinese origin
- Translator of several works of Chinese literature
